Return Policy


We are confident that you will be happy with your purchase from Bloomfield’s.  Our
dedication to high-quality merchandise and service is aimed toward insuring your
complete satisfaction.  We will gladly exchange or refund any purchase in its original
(saleable) condition within 30 days of receipt.

Holiday sales, covering purchases from October 1 thru December 24, may be
returned within 90 days of purchase and before December 31st.

"Clearance” items are “Final Sale” and cannot be returned except where
received damaged or broken.

  - Please call Customer Service at 1-800-754-9239 for assistance and authorization.

  - Returns shipped to us without prior return authorization might be refused or be
    subject to a 20% restocking fee.

  - You will be responsible for return shipping costs if a product is no longer needed
    or desired, or if the wrong product was ordered.  We cannot refund your original
    shipping charge.  You, as shipper, will be the party responsible for the safety of
    the returned shipment.  (We can assist you with claims for loss or damage if you
    use UPS to ship returns.)  Returned items are inspected prior to issuance of a
    refund or exchange.  You must include a copy of your original receipt / packing slip.

  - If your order was shipped under a “free shipping” promotion, we will issue the
    credit for the return minus the ordinary shipping charges that would have been
    incurred.

  - Exchanges of merchandise will be subject to new shipping charges.

  - If you would like to exchange or return a gift you received, we can offer a credit
    toward other merchandise, or will credit the purchaser’s credit card upon receipt
    of the return.  All stipulations in our “Return Policy” apply to returns of gifts.
    Customer Service can assist you with the return of a gift without a receipt /
    packing slip.

  - You will not be required to pay for the return shipping costs for an item that
    arrives broken or damaged, or is defective in any way, or the wrong item was
    shipped to you.  If applicable, Customer Service will provide you with a postage-paid
    return label and make the arrangements for the return with minimal effort
    from you.  You will be instructed as to what to do with any damaged or defective
    goods in your possession.  For damaged goods, please keep the original shipping
    carton and packaging material for shipper inspection, as we will file necessary
    claims with the shipper.  We will immediately process a replacement or refund.

  - You may return items by bringing them to our store in Flat Rock, North Carolina,
    with your proof of purchase.
